I saw this going around and thought I should post one as well.
I always prefer a damp sponge for my dry skin. However, I might use a brush in the beginning and then smooth out any streaks using a sponge.
I use a lot of foundations, but MAC Face and Body is my go to foundation.
I prefer light to dark. Not in case of smokey eyes where I would pick up a dark all over lid and then a lighter shade for transition.
Eyes- yes, face- rarely. I have dry skin and I have never really noticed a big difference when I have primed my face to when I haven’t. For eyes I have used MAC’s paint pots and mostly, Urban decay’s primerpotion which is the best!
I do both. It is weird, but for me concealer under eyes works after foundation and concealer on blemishes/acne works before foundation. So, I’d say concealer-foundation-concealer is what I do which of course reduces to foundation-concealer when my skin is acting very good.
Again many depending on the coverage I am looking at. But mostly, it is MAC studio finish.
Quick daily look takes me around 10 mins., which doesn’t include bronzing and any eye shadows.
Full makeup - only at work or on special occasions. Otherwise, minimal, which is kohl lined eyes, casually done eyebrows and lip balm. So yes as I never leave the house without anything on.
I am excited about the MAC Riri hearts collection. It does sound outdated but in India it is yet to launch. L
With time my obsessions keep changing. Right now it is with lipsticks.
Thankfully, I don’t need to. If I can then I make sure to brush my teeth after every meal.
Always pluck. I don’t know how to thread and cannot rely on others to do it either (learnt this the hard way).
Chanel’s soleil tan de chanel – perfect cream bronzer for me.
I would love to wear false lashes 24x7 – but they take a lot of practice and thus, a lot of time to put them on. Also, people here in my country don’t take you seriously if you have them on.
It is not about the brand, it is about the product. I have favorite products from different brands. No single brand can be all over perfect right?
When I am in a rush- pencil otherwise gel. Love the precision, control and pigmentation that a gel liner can give you.
Matte lipsticks if I go out and lip balm is I am just around like running errands etc.
Right now, Limecrime’s Velvetine in Red Velvet (does a liquid lipstick count?)
Creamy – again for my dry lids.
Currently, electric blue
Nude shimmery eyes with neon pink lips and Chocolaty brown smokey eyes with peach blush.
Naturally dramatic. ;)
I enjoy every bit of it. For me it is more about creating different looks, being innovative and trying out new things and not just about enhancing your beauty. There are endless possibilities for what all you can do with makeup. It is all about having fun and being happy in your skin.
I am very strict with my skincare routine. I wash my face twice every day – AM and PM- this is the least I can do.
Very Dry to Combination
Michael Todd’s honey oat cleanser – is great for my sensitive dry skin.
Yes. 2-3 times a week.
Scrub as a face mask – Lush’s fresh face mask ‘Love Lettuce’ and as a rinse off scrub – St.Ives Apricot Scrub
Oils like avocado, almond and olive. And when I am going out, Emrbyolisse Lait Crème Concentrate.
Yes! I have loads of them. I try homemade creams as well. Anything to correct my dark circles and prevent fine lines. Although, no luck so far.
Yes! Face masks is a favorite part of my skincare routine. I apply one every day. I use a lot of different masks every day. The Body Shop’s Oatmeal scrub, Lush’s love lettuce fresh face mask, Homemade Chickpea flour/Turmeric and Honey/Cinnamon, Yogurt/egg, Dermalogica hydrating mask, Mint Julep are the most used ones.
Hope you liked reading my answers and I tag you all – feel free to carry this on and let me know when you do it.
